Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Closing Specialist to oversee the full lifecycle of commercial loan closings, acquisitions, and servicing transitions. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in documenting, perfecting, and onboarding loans while maintaining seamless communication with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the closing process for commercial and construction loans, acquisitions, and portfolio transfers.
Review budgets, invoices, and construction draws to ensure alignment with approved terms.
Prepare, review, and track all loan documentation, including assignments and collateral records.
Research and comply with state and county recording requirements; oversee submission and follow-up on filings.
Support loan acquisitions through due diligence, identifying documentation gaps and resolving deficiencies.
Coordinate with sellers, clients, and borrowers to gather documentation, verify loan terms, and manage transfers.
Ensure accurate and timely loan boarding into servicing systems, maintaining data integrity.
Set up monitoring tools to track insurance coverage, tax obligations, UCC extensions, and covenant compliance.
Build and maintain complete credit files and servicing records for each loan.
Communicate clearly and professionally with borrowers during closing and transition phases.
Provide support to the loan administration team as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in commercial lending, loan closings, servicing, or title/escrow work.
Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation and collateral perfection.
Proven ability to prepare and record legal and financial documents accurately.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at senior levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with commercial loan servicing systems (Nortridge knowledge is a plus).
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
