Skilled Trades Services is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician who enjoys working with machines and thrives in a hands-on industrial environment. If you’ve got strong electrical troubleshooting skills and a passion for keeping equipment running smoothly, this role is a solid match.

Position Overview

You’ll join the industrial maintenance department supporting an international manufacturing operation. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems across a variety of industrial equipment — from motors and transformers to CNC machine controllers.

⚡ Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical industrial equipment, including:
• • Motors
  • Transformers
  • Generators
  • CNC controllers
  • Electronic controllers on machine tools
• Work with 3-phase motor controls , relay logic , and other industrial systems
• Perform functional testing and ensure all work meets relevant electrical codes
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Work at heights when required (ladder use is part of the job)
• Assist mechanical repair and operations personnel
• Provide electrical support in multiple buildings across the facility

️ About the Facility

The facility operates a full line of CNC and specialty machinery used to manufacture welding and cutting equipment for multiple industries, including Welding, HVAC, Plumbing, Automotive, Maintenance, and Jewelry.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with 3-phase motor controls, relay logic, and industrial electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and repair capability
• Ability to read blueprints and perform electrical system testing
• Comfortable working at heights
• Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate with mechanical/operations personnel

Testing Requirement

Qualified applicants will be required to complete a 21-question Electrical Quiz related to the responsibilities of the job.
