We are seeking an experienced IT Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, network security, Windows operating systems/servers, and Windows applications. This role involves delivering onsite and remote support, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction across a wide range of environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote technical support to clients, ensuring timely resolution of IT issues.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and applications.
Troubleshoot and support networking environments, including LAN/WAN, switches, routers, and firewalls.
Assist with implementing and maintaining network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, endpoint security, etc.).
Perform system updates, patches, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with internal MSP team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Document all work performed, including technical procedures and customer communications.
Support project deployments including server migrations, network upgrades, and application rollouts.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive client experience.

Qualifications

24 years of IT field service or MSP experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11) and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration.
Solid understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and firewalls.
Familiarity with network security tools and practices (VPN, endpoint protection, multifactor authentication).
Hands-on experience with common Windows-based business applications.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation (required for field service).
