Salesforce Health Cloud Solution Architect (Hybrid - San Diego, CA)

Duration: 6 - Month contract to hire

Location: San Diego, CA - Hybrid - (3 days onsite, 2 remote)

Rate: Up to $110 an hour

Our client — a Salesforce Partner based in San Diego — is seeking a Salesforce Health Cloud Solution Architect to lead high-impact implementations across healthcare and life sciences organizations. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-scale Salesforce Health Cloud solutions while collaborating with a dynamic consulting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver end-to-end Health Cloud solutions , aligning Salesforce capabilities with complex healthcare workflows and compliance needs.
• Translate business and clinical requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce architectures.
• Lead design sessions, create solution blueprints, and oversee configuration and integration of Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud .
• Partner with developers on Apex, Lightning, and API integrations to ensure seamless interoperability with EHR and third-party systems.
• Provide technical oversight through all phases of the SDLC , from discovery and design through deployment and adoption.
• Stay current with Salesforce Health Cloud features, healthcare data standards, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Salesforce experience , with 2+ years focused on Health Cloud architecture and delivery .
• Deep understanding of healthcare data models, patient relationship management, and care coordination workflows.
• Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Flows, Data Modeling, Security Model, and API integrations .
• Proven success leading multi-cloud Salesforce implementations in healthcare environments.
• Strong client-facing skills and experience working in a Salesforce Partner or consulting environment.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications highly preferred ( Health Cloud Accredited Professional, Application Architect, or System Architect ).
