As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00/Hour

Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 12:00 AM - 10:00 AM Thur 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Assist with access control procedures at the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
